Health & Wellbeing

Living Well – Living Well provides a wide range of holistic services designed to enable people to better manage their health and wellbeing. Services fall into three main categories: HIV Services, Youth Services and Community Support.

GMFA – Founded in 1992, GMFA is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to gay men’s health. Our mission is to improve gay men’s health by increasing the control they have over their own lives.

Pink Therapy Pink Therapy is the UK’s largest independent therapy organization, working with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender and others who identify as being gender or sexual diversities.

Antidote – Antidote is the UK’s only LGBT targeted drug and alcohol service, offering harm-reduction advice and information.

PACE – We’re passionate about working with London’s lgbt communities – helping people to achieve positive identities and mental health and well-being.

The London Gay & Bisexual Men’s Buddhist Meditation Group – Experienced meditation teacher, Nick Kientsch, leads this drop in class in central London. Suitable for people with no prior meditation experience.

Counselling & Therapy

Alan Downs – Alan Downs, Ph.D. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and intensively trained DBT therapist in private practice in Beverly Hills, California. Dr. Downs is probably best known as author of The Velvet Rage:  Overcoming Trauma of Growing Up Gay in a Straight Man’s World.

Tim Poole – A member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, (BACP). Tim provides a person centred approach to counselling, providing a nurturing environment which helps clients to help themselves.

Social & Networking

Out Everywhere – Meet like-minded gay people in your area and you’ll get to hear more about the events and stuff that everyone’s doing so that you can join in too!

Blogs & Books

OutTales around the Fire – OutTales around the Fire provides a platform for same gender loving people to come together and share stories about moments from their life’s journey. The tales are aimed at generating a sense of connection, community and healing amongst same gender loving people.

Gay’s the Word Bookshop – The UK’s pioneering first (and is today the last surviving) lesbian and gay bookshop. Established in 1979 and located in the historic Bloomsbury district of London.
