La Moulin – as the place is called – is a natural canyon that has a stream of water running right through creating a natural 3-mt deep pool and a couple of small bath-like lagoons. The place is surrounded by stunning views, horse stables, fromageries and all the things that you can expect in the traditional French country side.
Being a canyon, La Moulin offers great privacy and it creates its own micro-climate, allowing visitors to enjoy the sun without any wind. There are a wide number of activities in or around La Moulin which include: Canoeing, Horse-Riding, Zip-Wires, Hot Springs and the opportunity to visit picturesque villages with authentic fromageries and vineyards.
Note: This is a ‘Summer Camp’ and by that we mean, that we are ‘Camping’ (staying in tents). La Moulin has a specifically designed camping area with all the facilities required, including showers and kitchen. There are also two beautiful houses that we can use, but we will be sleeping on the camping grounds. Some of our activities might also include DIY projects, growing vegetables or feeding the horses.
30-min drive away, we also have the Bugarash Mountain, a beautiful standalone peak that offers a view of the Mediterranean Sea and the snowy Pyrenees. We will climb the mountain and camp at the top, while having conversations around the fire and doing some stargazing.
This is a very active, fun and adventurous experience. This will require ‘Courage’, not comfort!

How much?
The cost for the entire experience, including food, tents, sleeping bags, activities fees and transport in the area comes to only £TBC
In addition to that, the only thing you need to do is to book your own flight from London Stansted (1115 flight) to Carcassonne with Ryanair (1325 flight). The flight is about £90 return – although subject to increase, depending on booking time, and bring a towel, a torch and have your own travel insurance.
