Since its inception in 2013 The Quest has not received a penny in funding…until now! From October 2020 – March 2021 we have been allocated money to continue our essential work – supporting gay, bi and queer men.
“We realised when the pandemic closed down venues and encouraged social isolation that our communities would struggle” says co founder Ade Adeniji.
We wanted to quickly translate our activities online to create safe and connected spaces for our participants to meet, grow and feel supported” he adds
The funds awarded will enable the Quest to offer 1-2-1 coaching and to continue to facilitate their popular Quest Wednesday weekly Zoom gatherings.
Co founder Darren Brady explained – “We finally have the resources to not only serve the large numbers of men we currently work with but to offer a helping hand to a wider audience. Our new Social media officer Simon Maddrell will enable us to reach more people. It’s an exciting development and long overdue!”
