Brené Brown Programs
Brené Brown Programs overview
The Daring WayTM
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing a courage practice that transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
Rising StrongTM
Rising StrongTM is a process based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability – the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome – is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are inevitably going to stumble and fall.
The Rising StrongTM process is about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending.
We all create ‘stories’ in response to events in our lives – both real and imagined. Without awareness we live within the constraints of these stories – limiting our capacity for love, connection, and creativity.
Gifts of ImperfectionTM
The Gifts of Imperfection programme, based on the bestselling book by Dr Brené Brown, is about learning to be wholehearted – which is to engage with the world from a place of worthiness. Our authentic journey is about moving from “What will people think?” to “I am imperfect and I am enough.”
This programme is led by Ade Adeniji and Darren Brady, Certified Daring WayTM and Dare to LeadTM Facilitators. The programme is an opportunity to cultivate skills and practice the habits required to embody our authenticity day-by-day. The programme spans 8 weeks and comprises of an in-person session, at the beginning, followed by 5 online sessions. The periods in between sessions is an opportunity to integrate and practice insights and tools from the course.
Dare to LeadTM
Dare to Lead™ is a courage-building programme for leaders, based on the research of Dr Brené Brown. ‘Leaders’ in this context is “someone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people of processes and has the courage to develop that potential”.
The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The programme focuses on developing these courage-building skills to help individuals, teams and organisations move from armoured leadership to daring leadership: Rumbling with Vulnerability, Living into our Values, BRAVING Trust and Learning to Rise.
These programmes are led by Ade Adeniji and Darren Brady, Certified Daring WayTM and Dare to LeadTM facilitators who went to Texas to train with Brené and her team. The programmes create an opportunity to cultivate skills and practice the habits required to embody our authenticity day-by-day.
